"The Sprocket Clock"
The base of this table is an old cast iron sprocket, once used in an Amish sawmill in rural Ohio. It was discarded when the machine was dismantled. I discovered it on a rainy day while searching through a scrap heap. This sprocket would inspire an entire project.
I was originally going to make a bar table from it, but when I found the red clock on display in a furniture store in a nearby town, I decided it was a perfect fit for what would become a coffee table. I designed the three legs to support the clock and the 36" glass top. This work of beauty and strength will last a lifetime.
